Used Bikes & Trikes
This page provides information about used and consigned bikes and cycling equipment being offered for sale at bikes@vienna. While our effort is to keep the information up to date, we suggest you call to determine if an item is available for sale before traveling to the store. Please note, we do not ship our used bikes.

HP Velotechnik Scorpion FS 26 - RETIRED DEMO - Was $6800, NOW $5900!
This trike has only been a demo for a year, but we are selling it because we also have the exact same model with electric assist as a demo, and decided we didn't need both. Equipped with a 30 speed drivetrain, Avid disc brakes, rear wheel packing brake, neck rest, and fenders. VERY few miles, probably less than 30 miles, test ridden here at the shop or on the W&OD. A new one would cost around $7800, so this is a good buy on a barely ridden trike. And you can ride off with it today, instead of having to wait weeks for a special order!

TERN VERGE X18 - $899
This is an unusual item - a folding bike with dropped handlebars like a road bike. Tern offered this model for a few years, but it's no longer in their line, so this is a rare chance to get one. Light and nimble, this bike is a blast to ride, and it folds up quickly into a small package. 18 speed Shimano drivetrain with 2 chainrings in front and 9 sprockets in back. Also includes a Tern Cargo rack which we can install if you'd like.

Barcroft Columbia Recumbent Tandem - $2499
Designed and built by local recumbent builder Bill Cook (now retired), this bike is remarkable for being much more compact than other recumbent tandems. It's actually not significantly longer than a single long wheel base recumbent, so it's much easier to store and transport than most recumbent tandems. This one is in excellent condition and just had the suspension fork rebuilt here at the shop.

Tern Verge D9 - $749
Another one of Tern's Verge series, this one with flat bars. The D9 combines the light and fast Verge frame with a quality 9 speed derailleur drive train, and adjustable stem for fine tuning your handlebar position. This one also has Tern's Cargo Rack, a very sturdy rack for carrying your stuff. A great little folding bike! The current model sells for $149 so this is a great deal.

Hase Kettwiesel Recumbent Trike - $2950
Probably the best "delta" style trike available, the Kettwiesel is a great handling trike, and lots of fun to ride. Unlike most deltas, the seat is a fully mesh design, which cradles the rider in a way that feels very secure when cornering at speed. This one includes a dynamo lighting system, fenders, and the very large bag Hase makes for carrying your stuff. New, a trike like this would be about $5000.

Catrike Villager - $1999
Designed with a higher seating position compared to other Catrikes, this is one of their more popular models for first time trike riders. This one comes to us with VERY few miles on it, as it was only ridden a few times. Garage kept, in excellent condition, ready to give you years of fun. New, this model is now $2750, so this is a very good deal on a great trike.

SOLD! HP Velotechnik Streetmachine GT - $899 SOLD!
With suspension front and rear and under seat steering, the Streetmachine is a really comfortable, versatile recumbent bike. This one has definitely seen plenty of miles, but it's still got lots of miles left to go. New, a Streetmachine sells for over $4200, so this is a chance to get on one for a lot less.

RANS Street Crank Forward - $899
The RANS crank forward bikes place the rider in a position that puts your feet further in front of your seat compared to a conventional bicycle. This allows you to set the seat height to get proper leg extension, while still being able to touch the ground with your feet when stopped. It also places the rider in a more upright, comfortable position, on a very wide, padded seat. Come and check it out!

Bike Friday Nomad - $799
A nice basic travel bike from Bike Friday, complete with the suitcase to pack it in. Older, but in good condition and set up with a 21 speed drive train, and a rear rack to carry stuff. Bike Fridays are NOT your typical folding bike that folds quickly for carrying on the subway or bus, it is a TRAVEL bike that breaks down to fit into a suitcase for air travel.
