Do you offer rentals?

Nope, we haven't for years.
However, Green Lizard Cycling and The Bike Lane offer rentals. 

Spokes Etc. in Vienna may have a limited number of bikes available to rent.
For tandems, you can try Big Wheel Bikes.
As always, check with the shop in question before heading over as availability varies.

Do you offer test rides?

Yes, we do! We have a parking lot you can use to test ride bikes.

We have loaner helmets in case you don't have your own.
1 Hour-long test rides on the W&OD trail require a driver's license and/or credit card.

What brands do you carry?

We carry a wide range of cycles from brands such as; Brompton, Tern, Dahon, Bacchetta, HP Velotechnik, HASE, ICE, TerraTrike, Catrike, Avenue Trikes, Greenspeed, Jamis, Surly, All-City, Breezer and SUN.

Can you service an older recumbent/folding bike that you used to carry?

We can service just about anything but if you are talking: Longbikes, Bike-E, Vision, Ryan, WizWheels, Easy Racers, Linear, Lightning, Mezzo, Bike Friday or AZUB, we can certainly try to source any proprietary parts you may need.

Some companies may no longer exist but we will try our best for your bike.

Do you ship your bikes?

No, we do not ship. We prefer for you to support your Local Bike Shop.

Where can I donate a bike?

We are a drop-off point for Bikes for the World. Check out our page on donations here.

Do you service stationary bikes?

No, but you might try Gym Source in Falls Church.

​

Do you restore old/antique bikes?

We can bring your classic ride back up to fine mechanical condition, as well as sprucing up its appearance by polishing chrome and buffing the paint by hand.

We take great care in bringing your bike back as close to 'showroom finish' as possible.

Each bike is a special case so it's best to bring it by for an estimate.

However, we cannot re-paint, re-chrome or perform any major frame reconstruction.

Can you service my E-Bike?

We are a certified repair shop for Bosch, Shimano STEPS, and Brompton Electric.
We have experience with Falco and Bafang.

We will only attempt to service those brands' electrical systems.

We cannot service the late, but great, GoSwiss and Bionx as they are no longer serviceable due to being discontinued.

It is unlikely we will be able to source any parts for those systems.
All other brands not listed we can service the non-electric parts mechanically.

I have an internally geared hub that needs service, can you help?

We can service Rohloff, Shimano, NuVinci/Enviolo, Sturmey-Archer, and SRAM hubs.

From oil changes to minor adjustments or part failure diagnosis, we are able to handle 'pandora's box' of gear systems with ease due to years of experience.
